TeleDrive® Display

The situation in the logistics sectors becomes more and more competitive – therefore, it is crucial that you may manage your fleet as efficiently as possible and to offer your drivers an ideal environment according to your job requirements.

Especially for suchlike conditions we have developed the on-board computer TeleDrive®: Using it you can bundle all applications within an open system which may flexibly be enhanced as desired. Even its basic version comes with all crucial functions – such as telephony incl. hands-free equipment, navigation and radio and MP3 music.

Moreover, the TeleDrive® is provided with interfaces to the CAN-Bus, RS232, RS485 and digital ports. Also, it comes with WLAN, GPRS/GSM and GPS. The scanner required for delivering goods may easily be connected with the on-board computer using USB or Bluetooth; vehicle data are collected by the TeleDrive® using the fleet management interface (FMS).

Although it is provided with a large number of functions, using the TeleDrive® drivers are able to focus on their actual task – simply because all data are available on one single 7 inch touch-screen – such as information on shipment or pictures of the lorry’s rear view camera. The monitor is robust, bright and very well readable from all angles.

Product highlights

Open platform:

Numerous applications of third party providers – such as for the fleet management – are compatible with the TeleDrive®. Around ten partners are already developing software for the system. Optimise your fleet with programmes of your choice!

Driving and resting periods:

Based on the connection of the digital tachograph, the TeleDrive® is capable of monitoring the actual driving and resting periods. Therefore, the disposition department can be sure that relevant driver still has the required time budget available. Here, our partners provide all relevant software applications required.

Simple installation:

Both components – the actual device for the DIN duct and the display – may instantaneously be assembled and disassembled with the driver change.

Special navigation for lorries with Haz-Mat parameters (ADR):

Lorries may not be permitted to drive on certain roads – because of their weight, their height or their hazardous materials. The TeleDrive® always keeps drivers informed and tells them how to reach their destination without any problems.

Proven system:

The TeleDrive® was put on the market in mid-2008 and, today, is being used with more than 2500 vehicles. Forwarding agents and drivers praise the system because of its perfect usability and its versatile application fields.
